Interview with Lithuanian National Television and Radio On Israel-Gaza War Misinformation

I spoke to the Lithuanian National Television and Radio about the most common narratives amid the widespread misinformation and propaganda during the Israel-Gaza War.

Takeaways:

🚩 The Israeli official narrative regarding the responsibility for the bombing of the Al-Ahli Hospital was misleading, as we investigated at Al Jazeera’s Sanad agency. Other investigations, such as those by the New York Times and Le Monde, also pointed to the same conclusions.

🚩 A video that the Israeli army claims to show the killing of four Palestinian fighters. By analyzing the video, it appeared the individuals were unarmed, waving their shirts in surrender.

🚩 The 40 babies who have been beheaded lie which was repeated by the US president who later admitted that neither he nor his administration had actually seen the photos.

🚩 To those attempting to find the truth, I advised setting emotions aside, as emotional reactions to information may lead to misinformation spread, which causes even experts to make mistakes. Always think twice, as false propaganda thrives at this time, and some create narratives and try to support them in any way possible. They want to deceive you, even if you are an expert in this field, and the devil is in the details.
